Clubs in Action 2012 Showcase Launch

ECO-UNESCO’s Club in Action Showcase

The ECO-UNESCO Clubs in Action showcase was launched on December 1st 2012. It is an exhibition of posters made by ECO-UNESCO Clubs who participated in the Clubs in Action programme in 2012. The posters demonstrate all of the hard work that the groups have carried out in raising environmental awareness in their local area with help from a Clubs in Action grant. The showcase was very successful and acted as an inspiration to many young people from across Ireland and Europe as part of our Transnational Youth Forum 2012. The participants who attended the launch were hugely impressed with all of the projects on display.

ECO-UNESCO would like to thank the Clubs who participated in the programme for their tireless work which benefits not only their local environment, but future generations also. A further special thanks to St. Felim’s PPS, Ballinamore and Daingean Youth Group who made presentations of their projects on the day to more than 50 guests present. The posters will be on display into the New Year to inspire all who visit the Greenhouse.
