Showcase & Awards Ceremony

All finalists showcase their work at the Young Environmentalist Awards Showcase and Awards Ceremony which will be open to the public in Dublin in May. Each year approximately 80 shortlisted projects are displayed and over 700 young people, teachers, youth leaders and members of the public are present.

The Awards Ceremony will be attended by high profile guests, which in previous years have included Presidents Michael D. Higgins and Mary Robinson, Government Ministers Alan Kelly and Seán Sherlock, numerous Lord Mayors and Deputy Lord Mayors of Dublin, UNESCO Dignitaries and media personalities Stephen Byrne, Aidan Power and Duncan Stewart.

In addition there will be a range of interactive educational zones and guest exhibitors where young people can learn more about their environment including biodiversity, waste and climate change.
