It does not matter that you are a part of the formal education or non formal education sector the opportunity to be involved in outdoor education is one that should not be missed. Young people will be guided through a number of different terrains and provided knowledge and skills using non formal, interactive methodologies.

By the end of any of the outdoor education workshops young people will;

• Have a deeper understanding of the environment that surrounds them
• Understand more of the ecology of Ireland
• Know how to communicate more effectively
• Know how to work as a team
