What is Earth Day?
This year the Learning 2Change Our World Action Week is going to take place during the week surrounding World Earth Day. World Earth Day takes place on the 22nd of April every year. World Earth Day is a chance for environmental issues to claim the global spotlight, just for a moment.
Earth Day 2015: Earth Day’s 45th anniversary – could be the most exciting year in environmental history. Could 2015 be the year in which economic growth and sustainability join hands? It’s our turn to lead!! So our world leaders can follow by example!!

What can I do for Earth Day?
The possibilities for getting involved are endless!
Join an ECO-UNESCO Club! Volunteer. Go to a festival. Install solar panels on your roof. Organize an event in your community. Change a habit. Help launch a community garden. Communicate your priorities to your elected representatives. Do something nice for the Earth, have fun, meet new people, and make a difference. But you needn’t wait for April 22! Earth Day is Every Day. To build a better future, we all must commit to protect our environment year-round.
Living with less new stuff, recycling, up cycling, fixing, sharing, swapping and just buying less one-time-use items feels good, helps the environment and saves lots of money!
