Have a Green Christmas with ECO-UNESCO
Dust off the Christmas jumpers because on 8th December we’re having our very own ECO-Christmas Day fundraiser*! Running from 12-5pm, there’s plenty for the kids to do, and a few treats for the adults as well!
Kids Christmas Crafts: While you shop or grab a bit of lunch, let the kids get creative in our Christmas Crafts Zone. We’ll have them making all sorts of fun Christmas decorations, presents and knick-knacks, and all from recycled materials! Drop your kids off anytime from 12pm-4pm. Minimum stay 1 hour. Price per hour: €8.
Santa’s ECO-Grotto: Visit Santa in his very unique Eco-Grotto, give him your Christmas list, have your photo taken with the man himself and take home a little present for your tree!
Price per photo €2-all photos will be emailed to parent/guardian account.
Face painting: Be one of the most stylish kids in town; we’ll paint your face and you can look like whoever you want; be it Santa, Rudolph, Mrs. Claus, or even Spiderman, you choose the look! Face painting: €2 per child
Second hand shop: We’re looking for you to donate any unwanted gifts, books, ornaments; anything that is in good condition and is suitable for re-sale. Please drop any of these items into the Greenhouse before December 5th. On the day itself, come along and see what treasures you will find; give something a second life and find a present that somebody will love for a bargain price!
Gift tags and Christmas cards: Looking for an eco-friendly Christmas card or gift tag? Look no further, our home-made gift tags made from recycled material and our Christmas cards printed on 100% recycled paper are just the way to green up your season’s greetings!
*Fundraiser: All proceeds will go towards funding ECO-UNESCO’s environmental youth programmes. Each year we work with thousands of young people of all backgrounds from all over Ireland, through drugs programmes, youth programmes, and environmental progammes, empowering them to protect and conserve the environment while providing opportunities for them to build their self-esteem and become active citizens.
