 On June 20th, ECO-UNESCO’s National Director Elaine Nevin took part in a panel discussion on  ‘Empowering Communities for Climate Action’ as part of Project Ireland 2040.

The panel, held in Smock Alley Theatre, was hosted by Minister Denis Naughten, Department of Communications, Climate Action and the Environment and attended by the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar along with Ministers Paschal Donohue, Michael Creed and Shane Ross .

The event launched ‘Investing in the Transition to a Low-Carbon and Climate-Resilient Society 2018 – 2027’ and aimed to promote how the Government is committed to charting a course towards achieving a low carbon and climate resilient future by 2050.
