ECO-Youth Outings for 14-18 year olds 

If you are a young person aged 14-18 who wants to explore and enjoy our natural environment, then these outings are for you! Led by an ECO-UNESCO Environmental Youth Officer, activities throughout the year include forest walks and hikes around Howth Head, Bray Head and Greystones along with practical conservation work along Ireland’s coasts. The group leaves from C2 The Complex, Benburb Street, Dublin 7 (Next to Collins Barracks) at 9.30am. 

The ECO-Youth Outings will take place on the following Saturdays in 2015: 

11 October

22 November 

These outings are free for young people (note travel fare is not covered). Young people who wish to come on the trips MUST contact ECO-UNESCO a week prior to the outing to register themselves for the trip as parent/guardian consent is required. Interested parties must contact ECO-UNESCO on 01 662 5491 or email ysd@ecounesco.ie. Anybody turning up on the day without having first contacted ECO-UNESCO and providing parental consent will unfortunately not be accepted onto the outing. 

Anybody wishing to sign up to these outings must also join as an ECO-UNESCO member. Annual membership for under 18s is €10, while annual group membership costs €50. For more details on the benefits of membership please click here. 

All outings begins at 10am on the Saturday morning and run until 3-4pm in the afternoon. Departure is from ECO-UNESCO’s C2 The Complex, Benburb Street, Dublin 7 (Next to Collins Barracks)
