About:
This programme is based on COMHAR Primary Schools Sustainability Toolkit which was developed following a pilot with four primary schools. The Toolkit can be made available in whole or adapted in part as a resource for DPSM teachers. The Sustainability Toolkit is a practical toolkit for use in the school setting. It has been developed to assist schools integrate sustainable development into the daily life of the school by encouraging teaching of issues related to sustainable development in a classroom setting and by providing information and tools on a Whole Schools approach. The Toolkit takes COMHAR’s Principles of Sustainable Development and links them to the primary schools curriculum in a number of subject areas with strong links to the SESE/Science Curriculum in particular.This workshop can be delivered as outreach to your school.
