What is the Final Showcase & Award Ceremony?
The Final Showcase and Award Ceremony is the pinnacle of young people’s environmental efforts in YEA, drawing up to 1,000 guests. Finalists gather to proudly display their projects, engage with peers and environmental experts, participate in engaging talks and activities, and celebrate the crowning of the YEA winners.
Who can attend?
Shortlisted projects are invited to the showcase via email, however the event is also open to the public.
What can I expect?
During the first half of the event, the Showcase comes alive as young people proudly display their innovative environmental action projects. Judges visit each stand, guests can immerse themselves in talks and activities.
In the second half of the day, the anticipation builds to the thrilling Awards Ceremony, where the outstanding efforts of YEA participants are celebrated and the winners are announced.
Preparing your display
Finalist projects are provided with a poster board and table to display their work. Groups can be creative as they would like, using different materials to make their display stand out!
